Charlotte White

Hi! I’m Charlotte (she/her) and I am the human behind
Being Human Psychology.

I am a Psychologist, introvert and animal lover. You will most often find me on the couch with my cats and my nose in a cozy fantasy book, or out for a walk with my dogs and a true crime podcast playing.

I created Being Human Psychology to provide a space for each individual to feel heard, known and seen while exploring all the messy, beautiful and imperfect parts of
being a human.

How I can help.

While I have been practicing for the last 6 years, in private practice and the criminal justice system, I am only human and certainly don’t know everything. At the heart of my approach is the belief that each human is the expert in their own life and together we’ll work on understanding and managing whatever brings you to my office in ways that works for you.

My approach is supportive and I tend to use curiosity, empathy and a sprinkling of humour to understand and know you deeply. I will challenge you to be accountable, curious and reflective, holding space for your self-exploration, growth and development.

I have great respect for the bravery demonstrated by those seeking psychotherapy, and I consider it a privilege to work with you and to help you to be the human you want to be.

To support each person in my office, as the unique human they are, I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on skills and techniques from multiple therapeutic modalities to meet the individual needs of each of my clients.

If this is your first time to therapy or you’re returning to continue the work, it is a pleasure to have you here. I cant wait to meet you!
