Service Fees.
Being Human Psychology operates in line with the fee structures recommended by Australian Psychology Society (APS) and The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). My fees are reflective of my training and expertise, ensuring the provision of the very best service. They encompass the expenses associated with running a practice, maintaining professional registration, and ongoing professional development.
I understand this reflects a significant investment in your wellbeing, not only with your time and on an emotional level but also financially.
Where there is significant financial difficulty it is possible to discuss a sliding scale.
Standard 50 minute Session: $220
Between the hours of 9am to 4:30pm.
A Medicare rebate of $96.65 is available for those that have GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan. Rebates are processed after full payment has been made.
After-Hours Appointments: +$50
After-Hours appointment fees apply for appointment that start after 4:30pm.
Private Health Funds
You may be eligible to submit a claim for rebate with your private health insurer however you will need to check your policy and submit your claim yourself.
Fee Reduction
Reduced fees are available, but only upon mutual agreement.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee applies to cancelled, rescheduled or no show appointments with less than 48 hours notice.
